Alice Giles – Hindemith Harp Sonata

Alice Giles is one of the world’s leading harpists and a dedicated and inspiring teacher. She won the honor of the 8th Israel International Harp Competition, performed extensively as a soloist, and taught the whole class master class. She was born in Australia, studied in the United States, and lived in Germany for many years before returning to her roots, where she lived in rural New South Wales. She is always ready to take risks, even performing at Mawson Station in Antarctica. She is the director of the Seventh Harp Ensemble and artistic director of the non-profit company Harp Centre Australia
