Description Of Business Etiquette
Business etiquettes are given so much importance for the role they play in the success of a business as well as an individual. Using your business etiquette knowledge and communication skills, you are putting your best foot forward. It involves dealings with co-workers, employers, business partners and customers etc. The purpose of this course is to help you to develop strong relationships based on such behaviour.
The course does not only teach business etiquette, it also shares the most important in a business arena – soft skills. There are 19 videos/lectures, 16 articles and tasks to enhance your understanding. The course is designed and arranged in three sections with the following topics:
- professional presence and branding
- essential social skills
- etiquette in an office or at a workplace
- netiquette and business corresponding
- business dining and entertaining
- social networking skills
- etiquette in building relationships with colleagues, boss/employers and clients
- communication skills: verbal and non-verbal
We also suggest that you take notes, practise and finish the tasks.
We recommend that you take British Etiquette – Social Skills Refinement Programme first as a foundation course. Social and business etiquettes are not separate. On the contray they are tightly linked. For those who have not learned social etiquette, we have included two episodes of social etiquette as an introduction in this course.

About Jacky Ziki & Emilia Ellen
About Jacky Ziki
Jacky Ziki is one of the founders of the Kensington School of Etiquette and Manners in London. Since 2008 he has developed and presented a full range of programmes in etiquette and manners, business etiquette and international protocol. He also gives presentations to companies and overseas governments.
Jacky has a background in hospitality and customer service in China, Hong Kong and the UK with 30-year+ working experience. He became a trainer in 1995 and settled in the UK in 2000. He has an MBA from Oxford Brookes University, an etiquette consultant master’s certification from Career College, and a certificate in International Business & Diplomatic Protocol from Europrotocol School. His book Etiquette with Ziki was published in Hong Kong.
About Emilia Ellen
Emilia has extensive experience in teaching British etiquette, image, graceful deportment and communication skills. As a professional actress and a voice over artist she incorporates her acting skills and training into her etiquette consulting and teaching. Students benefit from her in-depth knowledge of body language and public speaking skills. Her specialty is Afternoon Tea Etiquette. She champions kindness and elegance as the fundamental principles of good manners.
Emilia has been teaching etiquette and protocol in the UK, as well as internationally in Asia and most recently in the Middle East. She also develops and delivers in-house training and coaching programmes for business professionals, teams and executives.
Emilia is a member of the Association for Coaching (UK) and London Association of Etiquette Consultants. She holds a Master Professional certification in etiquette consulting
