This course inspired me to get a part time job teaching math at a local community college at night. Initially, I was making $1k/month teaching Calculus 2 Monday and Wednesday nights. The next semester I switched to teaching two identical sections of Calculus 3 on M/W and T/Th nights for $2k/month. I’ve been doing this for 3 years. And now I’m writing a book about how to do well in college targeted specifically toward community college students.
